The design is envisioned as a retreat that dissolves the boundary between built space and landscape, allowing light, air, and greenery to shape the experience of the home. The planning is anchored around a central spine or courtyard, with large openings, verandahs, and transitional spaces creating a seamless indoor-outdoor flow that feels expansive yet grounded.

The spatial hierarchy is layered, with open, interconnected living and dining areas encouraging gathering, while private spaces like bedrooms are quieter and more introspective, often oriented toward pockets of landscape. A restrained material palette of stone, wood, lime plaster, and muted tones ensures the villa feels timeless, with textures highlighted through light and shadow.

Double-height volumes and generous ceilings bring in daylight and ventilation, while deep overhangs respond to the coastal climate. Interiors follow a philosophy of understated luxury with comfortable, grounded furniture and warm ambient lighting. Landscape elements like water bodies and native planting are integrated throughout, creating a calm, breathable sanctuary connected to its coastal setting.
